Women of '72 at the 45th ReunionAs reflected in the personal reminiscences below, our 45th Reunion experience reminded us that we hold a unique place in Princeton's history – all 63 women in the Class of 1972. Those of us sheltering from the rain at our 45th Reunion women’s brunch reveled in the individual, unique life stories that we shared. Some among us were longtime friends. Many others were just getting acquainted. As it happened, seeds planted on that occasion have since taken root and continue to spread, connecting more and more of us in friendships we now celebrate at every opportunity.
Women of '72 who attended our brunch and/or marched in the P-Rade are: Mary Wadsworth-Darby, Daryl English, Diana Foster, Helene Fromm, Jan Howard, Dotty Jannarone Kemper, Barbara Julius, Pam Lloyd, Chris Loomis, Holly Lovejoy, Elisa Marshall, Helena Novakova, Chris Robinson '73 h'72, Lizz Plater-Zyberk, Priscilla Stumm, Claudia Tesoro, and Chris Van Horne.
We owe very important call-outs to two people whose thoughtfulness laid the foundation for our deeply moving P-Rade experience. First, to Fritz Cammerzell, who entirely on his own initiative commissioned that simple-but-powerful banner for us. (All we asked for was a small table sign welcoming us to the Women's Brunch….) And second, to Tony Tichenor, who Chris Loomis recently revealed was responsible for urging Pam to assemble the marchers. Our deepest thanks to both you guys! To whoever brought the banner to the P-Rade route, there's surely thanks due there too.
